For any OG Tidal League Fan, Danny Green is a familiar name to them. Now you may know him from his time as a North Carolina Tar Heel, three-time NBA champion with the Spurs, Raptors and Lakers or just from his own podcast, “Inside the Green Room.” It was a full circle moment as we started with Danny in the podcasting space, bringing Danny and his team to our Canadian headquarters to do his first live podcast in 2018.
As Danny sits down with his fellow UNC Alumni, Theo Pinson, they dive into the world of Chapel Hill and how the years have passed since they’ve both attended. Some things have remained the same throughout, and some have changed like the seasons. They also dive into which team is the best of all time (surprise, this one isn’t really a shocker if you’re a college basketball fan).
Danny has been throughout it all in the league, as this is his 15th season. He also signed his deal with the Philadelphia 76ers during the pod (it was announced hours later, and conversations were happening while filming), so big congratulations to him. He talks about what it means to do things the “San Antonio Way,” watching a young Kyrie Irving and LeBron James (catching them both in Cleveland), going to arguably one of the best fan bases in all sports, the Toronto Raptors and so much more.
