You would think that making it to a Super Bowl for the second time and winning in a matchup against your brother would bring you as much fame and adoration as possible. Maybe, but for Travis Kelce, what has put the Kansas City Chiefs tight end on the map is a potential romance with Taylor Swift.
The pair have been tight-lipped on exactly what their relationship is, and the internet has gone wild with theories. Today on a podcast that he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis talked about how his privacy has been forever lost in just a few days, once Taylor was seen at his game this weekend, laughing with his mom (Donna, who was the real MVP of last seasons Superbowl in my opinion) and friends, and seen jetting off together after the game.
Being a loyal Swiftie, there is a massive part of me that hopes this relationship is for real. I want her to be happy and have babies and all the stuff people are supposed to want, but there is a nagging part of me that really doesn't think this is anything more than a publicity stunt.
My only question: What's in it for Taylor?
No offence, Trav, by all accounts, you seem like a good guy, but in the few moments we've seen you with Taylor, it looks like there is ZERO chemistry. So, if it is all for show, Taylor is already a mega-star with an insane following and is the boss of all bosses, and Travis...well, he won a couple of Superbowls. Football and Travis Kelce fans may take offence to my lacklustre opinion on this guy, but here are some straight facts on how the Power of Taylor Nation has been real since SUNDAY (not even three days ago), according to our friends at Front Office Sports:

• 3x increase in Chiefs sales on Stubhub
• Chiefs sold more tickets in a single day since start of season
Next weekend, they play the Giants, and already ticket sales are up because Taylor has a home there.
All wins for Travis, and not much of any gains for Taylor. Regardless of what this relationship is or isn't, I hope Kelce knows what he's gotten himself in for. No one is more dangerous than a Swiftie out for revenge (ask Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas...). If you wrong Tay, we will never forget, and never forgive.
