We are hitting the final stretch of our Run Your Race live stream broadcast.
For this one Theo didn’t hold back and brought on one of the best players in the NBA; Second team ALL NBA this year, the one and only, Donovan “Spida” Mitchell.
It was a great conversation from the banter (Theo poking some fun at Donovan and his Cleveland Cavaliers being eliminated this year at the expense of Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks) to some serious player focused talk, this stream had it all.
Donovan held no punches back, even calling out some players that took down his alma mater in 2022 in the NCAA national championship game.
The age-old debate of who got a bigger bag between Kevin Durant, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic came up as per usual.
As well as some of our favourite questions to ask some of the best 450 NBA players in the league, such as their top 5 defenders in the league, a welcome to the NBA moment, and a lot more.
Donovan and Theo also did a draft for their all-time Louisville lineups and talked about what it was like beating Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony with the Utah Jazz as a rookie.
What was interesting was how well Donovan spoke about this game between Denver and the Miami Heat. You get the feeling that he has such a high basketball IQ, and it really showed when he spoke about the difference between the Denver Nuggets from the 2020 Bubble Team to the team that made it all the way to the finals this year.
We had a ton of press around Donovan, which wasn’t a surprise that it would happen, but it was pleasant to see, as usual, as we continue to build out our network. I hope you guys can join us for the last handful of streams we got left for you!
