"Out the Mud" (2 minute read)

Mario, Princess Peach go on a new adventure in the animated film, Super Mario Brothers

Rough around the edges but always respectful.

There are no better words to express the newest members of the Tidal League family.

I personally wanted to send a big shoutout and welcome to Zach Randolph and Tony Allen, along with the producer on our new show, "Out the Mud," Akachi Okugo.

As we continue to grow, adding A-List talent is one of our biggest goals, but to add A-List people is a bigger bonus.

From day 1, working with the OTM crew has been great, but even more so, it felt like a family experience.

A couple of things we heard when starting our journey to recruit and solidify Zach and Tony to our network were the "respect" and "influence" that both these gentlemen had.

As a huge NBA fan, I was well aware of who Zach was, Mr "where the bullies get bullied," and Tony, "First Team, aka the Grandfather." Watching them in the Grit and Grind Grizzlies days, giving my team fits, used to drive me crazy.

We first went to LA with Tony and Zach to film the first couple of episodes (episode 2 is out by now. Make sure you go check it out), and we also got a chance to film with Baron Davis.

Man, was that a great episode. TA and Zach were in their rhythm and just having real conversations about real things. The common theme is that they did it their way without being disrespectful. That wrapped up, and we had a really successful trip in mid-September in Los Angeles.

When we went to Memphis, it was a WHOLE different world. The guys literally built that stadium. I remember hearing multiple times that they were giving away tickets before they got to Memphis. It's called the "Grind House," and the love they get in Memphis and at the "Grind House" is unmatched. There are still murals of them everywhere, while Zbo had his jersey hung in the rafters. TA's jersey is going up there in March.

We went to Memphis for two reasons:

a) to film with Jaren Jackson Jr.
b) to film the "grit and grind" reminisce episode in the centre court of the house they built.

Let me tell you this, the recordings were incredible and we achieved it. So make sure you guys tap into the latest episodes of Out the Mud - ya dig - out the mud, the flower rose.
