Do the Buffalo Bills Need to Make Some Trades? (2 minute read)

What is the best word to describe the Buffalo Bills right now? Maybe inconsistent or disappointing?

This year, for a team that has been knocking on the door of a Super Bowl appearance, has been one of mixed emotions for the Bills Mafia. Buffalo has shown flashes of the electrifying team that seemed to do no wrong from years past. As of right now, Josh Allen does not look like the dominating QB we are used to seeing and with key injuries to players like Matt Milano and Tre'Davious White, this Bills team looks like they are in panic mode.

Week 1 @ Jets (22-16 (OT Loss))

Week 2 vs Raiders (38-10 Win)

Week 3 @ Commanders (37-3 Win)

Week 4 vs Dolphins (48-20 Win)

Week 5 vs Jaguars (25-20 Loss)

Week 6 vs Giants (14-9 Win)

Week 7 @ Patriots (29-25 Loss)

As you can see, the Bills have blown out multiple teams, but they have been shaky in the past few weeks. They have significant weapons on both sides of the ball, but it may be time Sean McDermott starts considering trade options.

Potential trade targets:

  • Dennis Gardeck is having a breakout year and leading the Cardinals in sacks. His presence could add some more speed to the edge.

  • Danielle Hunter - Frequently in the trade rumours and one of the leaders of the Vikings Defense. His addition could continue to bolster the Bill’s D-Line.

  • Ja'Whaun Bentley - Veteran presence in the middle that could not only help in the run game but could help the young linebacker core that currently starts.

  • CJ Henderson - The Panthers are off to a bad start and might end up trading some of their talent. Henderson may come at a relatively high price but could be a perfect replacement for Tre'Davious White.

After last week's upset loss to the division rivals, Josh Allen said, “We're Going To Figure It Out.." Bills fans can only hope that the winning recipe comes sooner than later as they face a 3-3 Buccaneers team looking to bounce back after losing their last two…
