“A-ooo, A-ooo.” Tidal League launches into the NFL space with San Francisco 49er, Arik Armstead (1 minute read)

The NFL has been on our radar for quite some time, something we always knew was important for our business as we grow. As with anything at Tidal League, we always look at our pillars of Sport, Culture, and Storytelling; finding the right partner was the most important aspect of this new venture for us.

Just because the NFL was a priority, that didn’t mean we were going to rush into the space; we carefully looked at the prospective athletes interested in content creation, leading us to Arik Armstead from the 49ers. Arik, a captain and Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee was our perfect teammate and partner.

With the NFL season kicking off this week, we travelled to San Francisco to film and kick off “Third and Long” with Arik Armstead.

From FaceTime calls to meeting in person, Arik brings an incredibly welcoming energy that makes you feel like you’ve known each other for years. On the contrary, he does tackle people for a living, lol! So, as week 1 of the NFL season kicks off, football fans can now get direct access into a player’s perspective week in and week out.
