At this point, I’m pretty sure I know every major airport code in North America.

Our team has logged over a million miles just this year alone. We are constantly on the move, and I am probably an expert regarding reward programs via airlines and hotels, haha. Nonetheless, Hong and I are currently on a 10-day haul through the continent in the middle of December; that may sound crazy with Christmas around the corner. However, we will be back on December 21st, and that’s a win; why? Last year, Hong and I drove from Atlanta to Pensacola and had Christmas Dinner at an Indian restaurant in Alabama.

So this current trip sees us traverse the continent from Halifax to San Francisco, Dallas to Orlando, and back to Halifax. We started in San Francisco with Arik Armstead of the 49ers, where we filmed back-to-back episodes with his teammates Charvarius Ward and Javon Kinlaw. As we continue to grow "Third and Long" and spend time with Arik and his teammates, it’s unsurprising that he’s been nominated WPMOY for the fourth time in a row. This is the beauty of our business and incredible creative partners; we work with amazing people on and off the field/court/etc.

After a quick 24-hour turnaround, we set out for Dallas, where the Minnesota Timberwolves were in town visiting the Dallas Mavericks. Taking advantage of the NBA schedule, Theo sat down with Naz Reid. This was one of my favorite "Run Your Race" episodes to be a part of. It’s wild because even though I am a part of the pre-production and essentially sit in on the filming, I still watch the final product when it airs. That’s how much I believe in our content and genuinely enjoy watching it.

So now, sitting here in Dallas, I have an early flight to Orlando tomorrow, where I’ll catch up with the guys from "Ready Set Go" as they’re based in Orlando, plus prepare for the NBA G-League Showcase, which is happening in Orlando from the 17th – 22nd. This is the beauty of taking advantage of time and place. Theo will be playing for the Texas Legends, and we will have the opportunity to set up a "Run Your Race" home for the next few days, where we will film multiple episodes with his peers from around the NBA and G-League.

Now you may be thinking, San Fran, Dallas, Orlando – that’s not so bad; they are all warm and sunny destinations. Well, not this time of year. So you won’t find me by the pool in my downtime. Instead, Hong and I will be working away and exploring excellent restaurants in all three cities; blog to come on that.

When I head back on the 21st, I look forward to having Christmas at home and no flights booked until January 2024.

This year, I won’t be on a plane but instead spending time with family and friends in my PJs.
